Newsletter November 2018.

Hi All,

Firstly thanks to everyone who was able to attend the last work party, much good work was done including finally concreting the last remaining section of the support boat compound.
11th November - Support boat crew
25th November - Race Officer
9th December - Support boat crew
23rd December - Race Officer
Finally there are a number of upcoming events.  We have the eight race Winter series with two races on each of the Sunday's mentioned above.  This is an open series so please spread the word amongst your contacts at other clubs.  Non-MBSC/Harlow members have to pay a small fee (Single handers £4 for the day or £12 for the series and double handers £5 for the day or £15 for the series).

Other things to look forward to are:
Annual General Meeting 18th November 2018  11.00 a.m. - all are welcome to here what has and is going to go on in regards to the running of the club.
Prize Giving Dinner Saturday 1st December 7.00 p.m. for 7.30 p.m. (Royal Corinthian Yacht Club) - the annual end of season get together.  If you haven't seen any off the previous correspondence and would like to come then let us know.  It's excellent value for a three course meal plus coffee at £25 per adult and £15 for a child.

Xmas Party Sunday 16th December 12.00 p.m. at the club house - come and swap cards, share a drink and enjoy some food.  As usual it will be a bring your own buffet so bring your contribution for the table.  If you have gifts to give to your little ones (or big ones) then leave your presents in Father Xmas' sack (located in the galley store room) and Father Xmas will deliver them during the afternoon.
