Hi All,
Well the nights will be drawing in shortly but the events at Maylandsea Bay Sailing Club (and elsewhere) continue as detailed below.
Work Party - Saturday 22nd October

This coming Saturday we have a work party for members to come and lend a hand with various small DIY jobs around the club.  These events go a long way in helping to maintain the club and the grounds so all help is greatly appreciated.  The work kicks off at 10am and if you can come down to help then all will be welcome.  Please bring some old clothes to wear.
RNLI talk - Harlow & Blackwater Sailing Club - Evening of Saturday 29th October

Harlow will be holding an RNLI talk as detailed above with a fish and chip supper prior to the start.
Pre-orders for the fish and chip supper will be at 5pm and the talk will start at 7:30pm and cover the many faces of the RNLI; Flood Relief, the Thames and Coastal Operations.
Details of how to book your place can be found on the poster below.

Prize Giving Dinner - Evening of Saturday 3rd December

After a long hard look we have decided to use the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club in Burnham for this event. The venue comes highly recommended with a top chef (and kitchen staff according to the Turners).

Click here to view and download the menu and booking information. Paul Wilkinson must have your choice and money by the 12th November. Cadets are welcome and trophies for this year's sailing will be presented at the dinner.

Committee members

We are always on the lookout for new committee members so if you feel that you may be able to give up some time to assist then we would like to know prior to the AGM on November 20th. The committee meet on a Thursday evening approximately every 6 weeks. If you are able to assist then please contact Geoffrey Walkley or Paul Wilkinson in the first instance. Their contact details can be found in the racing programme or on the club website.
